LG ha anunciado finalmente el sucesor para el Optimus G. El nombre del teléfono no fue nombrado explícitamente en la nota de prensa de LG, pero podemos asumir que será “Optimus G2”, el teléfono que estábamos esperando desde hace un tiempo.

LG y Qualcomm nos recuerdan que el Snapdragon 800 dará un 75% más de rendimiento que el chip S4 Pro del Optimus G, incluyendo soporte 4G LTE – dependiendo de si el operador lo ha implantado – mejorando la vida de la batería, permitiéndonos grabar video en Ultra HD, y soportando resoluciones de pantalla de hasta 2560×2480, entre otras cosas.

(LG), Qualcomm Incorporated, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., today announced that the successor to the award-winning LG Optimus will utilize Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 processor, the industry’s most advanced mobile chipset. Qualcomm Snapdragon is a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

 

LG’s G series device powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors will redefine the smartphone experience through stunning performance, rich graphics and outstanding battery efficiency. Capable of carrier aggregation, the Snapdragon 800 processor is designed to allow LTE to be even faster by maximizing spectrum bandwidth to increase data speeds and reduce latency.
